André is the founder of Exiges. He specializes in the design and engineering of structured investment and finance solutions. He has more than twenty-five years’ experience in the industry and has an impressive track record in the execution of specialized debt, equity and derivative transactions. He has provided transactional and tax advisory support on a wide range of commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, group re-organizations, structuring of alternative retail investment products and tax and estate planning for high net worth individuals. He has acted for a large number of clients during his career including several long-term insurance companies, domestic and multinational corporates, asset managers and prominent high net worth individuals. He is admitted as an advocate of the High Court of South Africa (non-practising).

Andrew Sparg - BBusSc (UCT), CA (SA), CFA Charter Holder

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in Cape Town, Andrew spent 11 years within the Investec Bank group in South Africa and the UK. Within Investec he held a variety of roles, ranging from deal originator in Structured Finance to Joint Head of Credit Risk at Investec Bank plc. He returned to Cape Town in 2012, joining the Magus Group (a private equity and venture capital investment firm) as a principal. Andrew is a CA (SA) and a CFA Charter holder, and has been involved with Exiges since 2018.
